High in Glencoe, where the wild winds roam,
winter lingers on the peaks of stone.
Frost still clings to the jagged heights,
gleaming pale in the morning light.

Yet down below, the valley stirs,
as spring awakens, soft and sure.
The rivers run with a gentler song,
no longer fierce, but smooth and strong.

Golden light on heather glows,
as tender buds begin to show.
The curlew calls, the lambs take flight,
new life unfolds in morning light.

The chill remains on mountain crest,
but warmth now soothes the valley’s breast.
Winter fades, its grasp undone
As Glencoe sighs beneath the sun.
